💧 2. Hydrate Like It’s Your Job:Hormonal shifts can increase dehydration. Start your day with a big glass of water and keep sipping. It helps curb cravings, energize you, and support digestion.

🧠 3. Ditch the “All or Nothing” Thinking:One cookie doesn't ruin anything. One healthy choice can shift everything. Progress over perfection always. Be kind to yourself ❤

😴 4. Protect Your Sleep Like a Queen:Poor sleep = wonky hormones + increased cravings. Stop eating around 2 hours before bed (so your body doesn't have to work while you are trying to sleep), limit screens, and create a calming bedtime routine.

I love making this dough! It's so easy and it I just feel better eating it knowing there is very few ingredients.

Benefits of Greek Yogurt Pizza Dough 🍕✨
1️⃣ High in Protein – Greek yogurt adds a protein boost, making the dough more filling and helping with muscle repair and satiety.
2️⃣ Lower in Fat & Calories – Compared to traditional pizza dough, this version is often lighter and can support weight management.
3️⃣ No Yeast, No Waiting – No need for proofing! Greek yogurt dough is quick and easy to make, perfect for busy days.
4️⃣ Gut-Friendly Probiotics – Greek yogurt contains probiotics, which support digestion and gut health.
5️⃣ Soft & Chewy Texture – This dough creates a deliciously soft, slightly tangy crust that pairs well with any toppings.
6️⃣ Simple, Minimal Ingredients – Just a few pantry staples like flour, Greek yogurt, and baking powder—no fancy ingredients needed!
7️⃣ Versatile & Customizable – Works for classic pizzas, flatbreads, calzones, or even garlic knots!

Ingredients:
*1 cup all-purpose flour
*1 cup Plain Greek yogurt
*2 tsp baking powder
*1/4 tsp salt
*1/4 tsp garlic powder
*olive oil
Toppings:
*Marinara sauce
*Shredded cheese
*top it with whatever your heart desires❤
Directions
*Preheat the oven to 400 F
*In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, garlic powder and baking powder.
*Add in the greek yogurt and start mixing together with your hands.
*The dough may feel wet and sticky at first, but continue mixing with your hands to form a smoother dough. If needed, add 1-2 more tbsp of flour if the dough is too sticky.
*Grease a 9 or 10 inch skillet with olive oil then flatten the dough into the pan. If you want a thinner crust, roll the dough onto a parchment lined tray instead.
*Top with your sauce, shredded cheese and any toppings. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Enjoy!

These Healthy Banana Oat Pancakes are gluten-free, naturally sweetened, and packed with fiber—perfect for a nutritious breakfast that keeps you full and energized!

Perimenopause is a time when your body goes through numerous changes. Because of those changes, it’s important to get adequate amounts of certain nutrients, like protein and fiber.

~Your muscles start to decrease during this time and adding extra protein to your meals can help maintain muscle mass.

~It doesn’t mean that you have to just pump up your meat game either. There’s protein found in a lot of other foods such as eggs, beans/legumes, cheeses and yogurt.

~Fiber is another go-to during perimenopause. It helps keep you feeling full longer, which can curb cravings.

~Consuming adequate fiber may also decrease your risk of certain conditions, including heart disease, stroke, and some types of cancer.

~I love Hummus (Roasted Garlic Hummus To be Exact) and pairing this with cottage cheese bumps it’s protein up and it’s high in fiber…win win!!

~This creamy, high-protein hummus isn't just a delicious snack; it's a versatile option for any occasion. Whether craving a healthy midday nibble, easy breaky, appetiser, or a way to elevate your sandwich spread.

When you look at the timing, amount and what you are putting in your mouth…it makes you realize that you may be eating out of boredom, or it’s 12pm I should have lunch, or it’s in front of you and you don’t realize how much you are consuming. Listen I get it, I am guilty of all of it. This is where we take control and sit back and realize what we are doing. The hunger scale is a great guide to listening to your body and figuring out if you are really hungry! It’s there to help you take the right steps to adjust your habits. Once you get into the habit of following the steps, it will just come naturally to you because you are now in tune with your body. Try it today!

I have to admit that my body is not liking alcohol lately, It just doesn’t tolerate it. Listen I’m not saying I have cut it out completely, but I do see a difference in my body when I drink. I will have my wine here and there (it does contain antioxidants ;)...but it effects my sleep, which effects my mental health. My body is changing so much, and alcohol just enhances my (peri) Menopause symptoms. So I keep experimenting with some fun “Mocktails” and found one that contains antioxidants, magnesium, tryptophan and so much more…it’s yummy, It’s relaxing and taste delish. This is my Go To Mocktail.

Try my simple yet tasty recipe:
-1 lb ground Turkey
-1/2 onion, diced
-2 cloves garlic, diced
-6 white button mushrooms, chopped
-1 can diced tomatoes
-1 can red kidney beans
-1 pack of chili or taco seasoning
Sauté onion, garlic and mushrooms. Add ground Turkey till fully cooked. Throw in tomatoes, kidney beans and seasoning. Simmer for an hour..Enjoy!

I love Quinoa!!!

I eat it like oats for breakfast or like rice for a “Nourish Bowl” 🥗
It’s definitely the star ⭐️ of the show 😉

⭐️ Did you know that Quinoa is actually a seed!?!?

⭐️Who knew?!

⭐️While quinoa is often prepared like a grain and considered by many to be in the grain food group, it’s actually a member of the spinach, chard, and beet family.
⭐️Quinoa is the seed of the Chenopodium plant, a green leafy plant that sprouts numerous flowers.

⭐️The quinoa seed is a pseudocereal, as opposed to a grain. ⭐️Pseudocereals are plants that produce seeds and fruits that are similar to grains and used in virtually the same ways.
⭐️High in protein, nutrients, and vitamins, pseudocereals are most commonly gluten free and considered whole grains, despite not being a true grain.

⭐️And…Quinoa is so easy to prepare ….very similar to rice..
⭐️I made this bacon and egg Quinoa Bowl and I just needed to share.

I eat it like oats for breakfast or like rice for a “Nourish Bowl” 🥗
It’s definitely the star ⭐️ of the show 😉

⭐️ Did you know that Quinoa is actually a seed!?!?

⭐️Who knew?!

⭐️While quinoa is often prepared like a grain and considered by many to be in the grain food group, it’s actually a member of the spinach, chard, and beet family.
⭐️Quinoa is the seed of the Chenopodium plant, a green leafy plant that sprouts numerous flowers.

⭐️The quinoa seed is a pseudocereal, as opposed to a grain. ⭐️Pseudocereals are plants that produce seeds and fruits that are similar to grains and used in virtually the same ways.
⭐️High in protein, nutrients, and vitamins, pseudocereals are most commonly gluten free and considered whole grains, despite not being a true grain.

⭐️And…Quinoa is so easy to prepare ….very similar to rice..
⭐️I made this bacon and egg Quinoa Bowl and I just needed to share.

🥓🍳BACON AND EGG QUINOA BOWL :

🍲prepare quinoa (I make extra for the week 😉)

🍄made some mushroom toast with the bottom of the container mushrooms, 1/2 onion, all sautéed..thrown on on a cream cheese covered bun..and toasted.
🌱made a salad with leftover chickpeas, leftover chicken breast and a bunch of ol veggies that need to be eaten.

But it is a good time to make soup 🍲😉

This is my go to, easy peasy, homemade “Instant Soup”
It takes no time and it’s full of deliciousness!!! 😋

I love SOUP!! 🍲
It’s so cozy! 😉

Ingredients:
-chopped red pepper 🌶
-chopped fresh spinach 🍃 -chopped green onion
-minced garlic
-brown rice vermicelli noodles 🍜
-chopped chicken breast 🍗 -chicken bullion cube crumbled (mccormicks is my choice..no msg)
(I threw in some sirraccha and fish sauce to add a twist)
-put all ingredients in a glass bowl with lid (mason jars work well)..its perfect for work!
-boil water in a kettle..pour it in the bowl cover for 10 minutes
Voila! Enjoy!

I just wanted to share my Healthy Breakfast Cookie with all of you today!

🍪 Healthy Breakfast Cookie Recipe

🍪2.5 cups Oats
🍪1/2 cup Oat flour
🍪1 cup Hemp Hearts
🍪1/2 cup pumpkin Seeds
🍪1/2 cup Slivered Almonds

🍪Use a cookie scoop and place onto baking sheet. Press down with your hands (they will not spread on their own).
🍪Bake for 12-15 minutes until set. Enjoy!

So I was looking for any easy breakfast that I can enjoy with my coffee..and I’m more of a savoury person than a sweet one😉

So I experimented and made a lil savoury pumpkin bread…and it worked 💃🏻

Try it..you’ll like it 😉

This pumpkin bread is so good: each slice is packed with pumpkin, incredibly moist, and full of healthy nutrients…it’s a great start to your day!

🍞SAVOURY PUMPKIN BREAD RECIPE:

Ingredients:

🍞1 cup pumpkin puree
🍞1 cup whole wheat flour
🍞1 cup oat flour
🍞1/4 cup coconut palm sugar
🍞1 cup plain yogurt
🍞2 eggs, room temp
🍞¼ cup avocado oil
🍞½ tsp baking powder
🍞½ tsp baking soda
🍞½ tsp ginger
🍞½ tsp turmeric
🍞1 tsp salt
🍞¼ tsp black pepper
🍞¼ cup hemp seeds (more for top)
🍞¼ cup pumpkin seeds (more for top)

Directions:

🍞Preheat oven at 350. Grease a 5 X 9 inch pan
🍞In a medium bowl, add wet ingredients: eggs, oil, and yogurt. Whisk to break eggs and mix in yogurt. Add pumpkin puree and combine well. set aside
🍞In a large bowl, add dry ingredients: flour, spices and sugar. Mix well with fork to distribute evenly. 🍞Add wet ingredients in 3 batches and fold in until flour is moist and well blended. Add seeds.
🍞Transfer to prepared baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let cool in pan for 20 minutes then loosen sides and turn out of pan.
🍞Slice thin and toast with butter or make sandwiches. Suggested ideas are cream cheese, turkey and cheese. Peanut butter and jelly actually works, too! Enjoy!

🍞In a large bowl, add dry ingredients: flour, spices and sugar. Mix well with fork to distribute evenly. 🍞Add wet ingredients in 3 batches and fold in until flour is moist and well blended. Add seeds.
🍞Transfer to prepared baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let cool in pan for 20 minutes then loosen sides and turn out of pan.
🍞Slice thin and toast with butter or make sandwiches. Suggested ideas are cream cheese, turkey and cheese. Peanut butter and jelly actually works, too! Enjoy!

It’s a tad Chilly out today 🥶

🌶 let’s try to keep warm..It’s a great day to make some chilli 😉

🌶Here’s my go to Turkey Chilli Recipe :

1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 lb Extra Lean Ground Turkey
1 Yellow Onion (chopped)
2 cups Diced Tomatoes
2 cups Crushed Tomatoes
2 cups Black Beans (cooked, rinsed)
1 3/4 cups Red Kidney Beans (cooked, rinsed)
2 Carrot (chopped)
5 stalks Celery (chopped)
1Red Bell Pepper (chopped)
1 Jalapeno Pepper (chopped)
3 tbsps Chili Powder
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Sea Salt

🌶Heat oil in a large pan oven over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and onion and saute for about five to seven minutes, or until the turkey is cooked through.
🌶Add all of the remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
🌶Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
🌶Divide into bowls, serve and enjoy!
🌶I like to top mine with avocado slices, plain yogurt and cheese..so yum!

I just wanted to share my sushi “Fail” that turned into a win 😉

🍣 sooo I didn’t have any Sea weed sheets so I thought I’ll be fine rolling everything in the sticky rice…um that was a mess.

🍣I’m not one to waste food or give up on it…sooo I made little sushi cups …I molded the sticky rice in my mini muffin tin..popped them out and filled them with all my sushi ingredients…and it worked 💃🏻

🍣so if you don’t feel like rolling your sushi, this is a perfect alternative..one bite sushi cups 🤷🏻‍♀️

Granola!!!
I love granola with plain yogurt and fruit. It’s a great start to the day….filled with #antioxidants, #fiber, #vitamins and #minerals. I like to make my own, so I can control the sugar and it’s pretty darn easy 😉

This is my go to Granola Recipe:

🥣 1 3/4 cups Quick Oats
🥣2 tbsps Oat Flour
🥣1/4 cup Pumpkin Seeds
🥣1/4 cup Hemp Hearts
🥣1 1/2 tsps Cinnamon
🥣1/3 cup Maple Syrup
🥣2 tbsps Avocado Oil

🥣Preheat the oven to 300ºF (148ºC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
🥣In a mixing bowl combine the oats, oat flour, pumpkin seeds, hemp hearts and cinnamon. Stir in the maple syrup and oil until well combined.
🥣Bake for 20 to 23 minutes until golden brown, stirring halfway through.
🥣Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the tray. Enjoy!

I am so excited to share this delicious recipe with you today. The Greek flavors added the perfect touch to the classic chicken burger. The oregano and feta cheese enhanced the flavor so much!
Some days I just feel like a big juicy burger🍔…right?!

🍔1 lb ground Chicken
🍔3/4 cup Panko crumbs
🍔1Tbsp onion soup mix (without MSG)
🍔1 egg
🍔2 tsp minced garlic
🍔1/4 crumbled feta
🍔1 tbsp dried oregano (or 2 Tbsp fresh oregano)
🍔Mix all ingredients in a bowl, divide into 4 balls (I chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour)…. Flatten the balls into patties. Cook on the BBQ or on the stove top until cooked through (reaches 180 degrees)….and voila! I always load mine up with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, tzatziki sauce…um yum!

These babies are so easy to make with just a few ingredients..including yogurt!

🥖Cheesy Yogurt Buns

INGREDIENTS

🧀1 1/2 cups self-rising flour(or just use regular flour with a tap of baking powder and dash of salt)
🥖1 1/2 cups plain whole-milk Greek yogurt
🧀1 cup shredded old cheddar (separated)
🥖2tsp garlic powder
🧀sprinkle of parsley

🥖Heat the oven: Arrange a rack in the middle of the oven and heat to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
🧀Mix the dough: Place the flour, yogurt, 3/4 cup of shredded cheese (reserve 1/2 cup for on top), and garlic powder in a large bowl. Mix with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula until a moist, shaggy dough forms and no dry bits of flour remain.
🥖Drop the dough: Using a 1/4-cup measuring cup, drop the dough onto the baking sheet, spacing the biscuits at least 1 1/2 inches apart. Sprinkle cheese and parsley on top.
